The Bull is a gentle, easy going, and affectionate dog. The Bull has a wonderful nature, a comical outlook on life, and a really entertaining personality. The national symbol of Great Britain, the Bull is known to be extremely friendly, and loving. The Bull loves to spend time with his family. Known to be one of the most dependable breeds around, the Bull makes a wonderful family dog. The Bull is fine for the more inexperienced owners as well as those with experience. The Bulldog can have a stubborn streak, but is also a very docile breed with plenty of affection and devotion to give to his family.

The Bull is known to be excellent with children and will get along with other s too. The Bull will have a jealous streak if another animal tries to take his food! The Bull breeds sweet nature and comical attitude makes him a big hit as a family dog. The Bull is a breed that has inbuilt laziness, so don't expect your Bulldog to go romping around and playing Frisbee with you. It is important to exercise your Bull for health reasons. This should be along the lines of gentle strolls and walks in cooler weather. With strangers, the Bull may be reserved, although some will be quite friendly. The Bull is a sensitive and intelligent dog, and is ideal as a pet in a relaxed household.

The Bull dog
Known as the national symbol of Great Britain, the Bull is a medium sized with a smooth coat, heavy, thick-set, low-swung body, massive short-faced head, wide shoulders and sturdy limbs. The Bull is an ideal as he loves to be in the company of his family, adores children and makes an excellent companion to them because of his gentle, sometimes stubborn nature. He was originally a fighting dog, but now he's about as easygoing as a can be.

Bull Skills
Because of their courage and apparent capacity to endure pain, Bull dogs were shamelessly exploited for many years in the sports of bull baiting, bear baiting and fighting. Bull baiting was made illegal in England in 1835. Today, the Bull loves people and the attention people give him. As a rule, this is a good, quiet companion. They are not good watch dogs although their looks alone tend to deter any potential intruder. Bull dogs today are successfully competing

in Obedience competition as well as Agility and Tracking.

Bull Personality
The Bull is affectionate, uncomplicated, gentle, intelligent, sensitive, and fearless dog. Bull dogs enjoy mixing with other dogs and household s. They are good with children. Some are cautious with strangers, but most are friendly to everyone.

The Bull dog Exercise Needs
Exercise is important for a Bull to build stamina and prevent obesity, but don't overdo it, particularly when it is hot or humid. Because of his face and body type, light and uncomplicated exercise is enough to keep him healthy. It will adapt itself to the activity level of your family. Sufficient rest is key to development of healthy bones, muscles, and joints.

The Bulldog Living Conditions
A Bulldog does best in a loving environment, free from fear and neglect. They are happiest when there are people around. Left alone, a Bulldog (like any other breed) can be destructive. A crate is a good investment. A Bulldog should never be chained. Not only is it dangerous for your Bull dog  well being, but makes him a target for “dognappers”. An air-conditioned house is his favorite place in the summer.

The Bull dog Grooming Requirements
His toenails will require frequent trimming, his ears and wrinkles frequent cleaning and he will need an occasional bath. As with any dog, always provide your Bull with clean water and a correct and nutritious diet.

The Bull dog Health Issues
Bull Terriers dog, as a breed of dog, are quite fortunate in being generally free of disabling genetic diseases. One problem common to many Bull Terriers is a propensity to skin allergies. Certain insect bites, such as fleas, and sometimes mosquitoes and mites produce a generalized allergic response of hives, rash and itching. This can be controlled by keeping the free of contact with these insects, but this is definitely a consideration in climates or circumstances where exposure to these insects is inevitable.
