Dachshund
A lively and sweet natured creature, the Dachshund is a dog that makes a loyal and devoted pet for the right owner. These dogs are well suited to both inexperienced and experienced dog owners, as they are adaptable, intelligent, and sociable. The Dachshund is not the right choice for those with little time to dedicate to a pet, as they do need love, attention, and companionship. He tends to get along well with older, gentler kids. The Dachshund loves to be around other Dachshund dogs, and with early socialization should get along fine with other pets. When it comes to strangers the reaction of the Dachshund can vary depending on his personality - some will be fine with strangers and others may be aloof.

The Dachshund dog is widely popular for its elongated body and short stumps for legs. However, even with such a small height, This dog  is quite a strong and muscular breed of dog. Aside from its long body, it also possesses an elongated head to match, with arched eyebrows, a long snout or muzzle, with teeth that possess a scissors bite. Dachshunds normally grow about 42 teeth in their lifetime. It wears an intelligent expression on its face, thanks to its oval eyes, which, can also come in other colors such as dark red, or brown black. Dalmatian
The Dalmatian dog is an alert and  active breed.  This confident dog shows plenty of energy and excellent skills when it comes to problem solving and obedience. Friendly, and outgoing, the Dalmatian is a dog that tends to bond closely with his owners, and children.  The Dalmatian dog makes a great family pet, although this breed can be very strong willed, which may make him better suited to owners with some degree of experience in handling and training dogs. These dignified dogs love a wide range of activities.  Sociable and dependable, these dogs will require a high level of exercise and activity otherwise these dogs can get bored and this can lead to destructive behavior.

This breed was popularized by the Disney animated film 101 Dalmatians. Some people may not know this, but Dalmatians are actually born white, and don’t develop spots until they get older. Some dog enthusiasts argue that the Dalmatian may be related to the Pointer breed, because of the former likeness to the latter’s clean lines. Its coat is short, with spots that come in black, liver, dark blue, or even lemon. The solid white variety is highly discouraged in dog shows. Dandie Dinmont Terrier
The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is an affectionate and intelligent dog, with lots of energy. This dog has plenty of love and devotion to give to his owner. Dandie Dinmont Terrier can be very protective and makes him an effective watchdog. The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is a very agile dog and is quick to learn and obedient with the right handling and training. This breed is a very independent and strong willed dog, and this makes him more suited to those with some experience of dog ownership and handling. The Dandie Dinmont Terrier gets along well with children that he has been raised with, and with older, more considerate children. This breed also tends to get along well with strangers and will be friendly and welcoming. When properly socialized he will get along well with other pets, such as dogs and cats, but he may have a high prey drive when it comes to rodents.

Dandie Dinmont Terriers are usually long, and are usually longer than they are tall. They have short, strong legs, a large, well-proportioned head which includes a defined forehead and a black nose. A Dandie Dinmont Terrier’s ears usually measure 3 to 4 inches, while its hazel eyes are bright and energetic. The tail ranges from 8 to 10 inches, and is thick at the base and tapers at the end. A special feature of this breed is its silky topknot, which appears silver on pepper dandies and cream on mustard breeds. The coat on dandies are about two inches long, with variations of crisp and soft hair. Generally, hair on the dog’s underside is softer than those found on its upper body. Doberman Pinscher
The Doberman Pinscher is a dog with plenty of devotion and love to give. This dutiful dog breed tends to have an even, well balanced temperament. They are intelligent, creative, and quick to learn. The Doberman Pinscher excels in obedience training when it is positive and includes treats and lots of praise. The Doberman Pinscher dogs are one of the most intelligent and fastest learning of all breeds. These dogs are best suited to those who can establish themselves as "boss" from day one, as this breed can be strong willed and stubborn. The Doberman Pinscher tends to get on well with children when raised with them, although you should be mindful that his large size can result in problems when younger children such as toddlers are around. Doberman dogs also gets on okay with other pets, although this breed may be bossy and dominant with them, quickly establishing himself as the leader of the pack. He may chase smaller animals such as cats or rabbits due to his high prey drive, but this can be curbed by socializing him with your household pets early on.

The Doberman Pinscher is a combination of power and grace, because of its proud, well-proportioned chest area, and well-toned neck. This breed comes in a variety of colors, namely black, blue-gray, black and tan, fawn, red, and white. Some breeds may have white markings, which are considered a no-no in several dog clubs. Traditionally, the Doberman Pinscher’s ears are cut off when it reaches 12 weeks, but nowadays, and especially because the cutting off of their ears is now against the law, breeders now choose to leave the ears to grow naturally. Dogue De Bordeaux
Breeders have softened the Dogue De Bordeaux temperament of this dog quite a bit from his original ferocity. Today the Bordeaux has a good and calm temperament. It is extremely loyal, patient and devoted to his family. Fearless and confrontational with strangers, he is a first class watch and guard dog. This breed can be very aggressive with other dogs. Socialize very well with other animals from an early age. The Dogue de Bordeaux snores and drools. Despite his fearsome appearance, the Dogue de Bordeaux is gentle with children and family members. However this is a powerful animal, and is not suitable for an inexperienced dog owner.

Dogue De Bordeaux dogs are reported to have originated in France a good six centuries ago, is also called the French Mastiff, Bordeaux Dog, Bulldogue Francais, or simply DDB. This powerful dog is known for his head, probably the largest among all canines. Aside from this, the Dogue De Bordeaux has a strong, stocky and muscular physique that can easily frighten away any man.
